Khanyisa is the Formation of a Centralised Christian Outreach organisation in Edenvale

• HOPE (Helping Out of work People of Edenvale) was originally founded in 1990 by Christians from different denominations in Edenvale.

• The Manna soup kitchen was formed in 1992 to provide one location that several churches would support rather than have different churches doing similar things.

• These two organisations consolidated under The Khanyisa Trust in 2000.

• Premises were secured to provide a facility to offer outreach to all in our town, and to pool the resources of the community churches to make this outreach as effective as possible.
